1. Remove the windshield wiper pivot arm.
2. Turn the windshield wiper/washer switch to LO and allow the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shafts to move through three or four cycles. Turn the windshield wiper/washer switch OFF.







3. Position the windshield wiper pivot arm and windshield wiper blade assembly on the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft so that the clearance between the windshield wiper blade and the top of the cowl top vent grille is 28-32 mm (1.12-1.28 inch).
4. Install the windshield wiper pivot arm nut. Tighten the windshield wiper pivot arm nut to 10-15 Nm (86-121 Lb-In).

NOTE: Ensure that the windshield wiper pivot arm and windshield wiper blade assembly is aligned with the windshield wiper pivot arm shaft so that the windshield wiper pivot shaft splines are fully seated.
