Rotor: Testing and Inspection

1. Wipe the generator rotor with a clean cloth. Do not use solvent.
2. Inspect the generator rotor shaft rear bearing surface for roughness or severe chatter marks. Replace the generator rotor if the generator rotor shaft is not smooth.
3. Inspect the generator rotor wires for burned insulation or loose connections. Replace parts that show signs of burned insulation.
