Multi-Function Switch

The windshield wipers are controlled by the wiper control lever which is an integral part of the multi-function switch. The wiper control lever is located on the right side of the steering column. To operate the windshield wipers, the ignition switch may be in either the ACC or the ON position. In addition to the OFF position, the wiper control lever has two fixed positions, LO and Hi, and an intermittent position. If the intermittent position is selected, the time between windshield wiper cycles will decrease as the intermittent control band is rotated away from the OFF position, and will increase as the intermittent control band is rotated toward the OFF position. The time interval between wipes will vary depending on the intermittent control band's position relative to the OFF Position.
