Fog/Driving Lamp Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Key OFF.
2. Disconnect the fog lamp switch.







3. Measure the resistance between the 4 terminal and the 5 terminal at the fog lamp switch.

Switch Position Resistance
On Less than 5 ohms.
Off Greater than 10,000 ohms.

4. If the fog lamp switch is OK, return to the pinpoint tests. Pinpoint Tests
5. Otherwise, replace the fog lamp switch.
