Backup Lamp Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Drain the manual transaxle fluid.
3. Disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector.
4. Remove the backup lamp switch. Discard the gasket.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the backup lamp switch using a new gasket.
2. Tighten the backup lamp switch to 20-29 Nm (15-21 Lb-Ft).
3. Connect the backup lamp switch electrical connector.
4. Add the correct amount of specified fluid for manual transaxle.
5. Lower the vehicle and check for proper operation.
