Fog/Driving Lamp Relay: Testing and Inspection

1. Key OFF.
2. Remove the fog lamp relay.







3. Apply 12 volts to the 2 and 4 terminals at the fog lamp relay.
4. Measure the voltage of the 1 terminal at the fog lamp relay under these conditions:

3 Terminal Voltage on 1 Terminal
Grounded Greater than 10 volts.
Open Less than 1 volt.

5. If the fog lamp relay is OK, return to the pinpoint tests. Pinpoint Tests
6. Otherwise, replace the fog lamp relay.
