Removal and Installation

1. Remove the air cleaner to intake manifold tube.

Throttle Body:





2. Disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor and the Idle Air Control Bypass Air (IAC BPA) valve electrical connectors.

Accelerator Cable:





3. Disconnect the accelerator cable at the throttle body.
4. Disconnect the IAC BPA valve vacuum lines.
5. Disconnect the IAC BPA valve coolant lines.
6. Disconnect the vacuum lines from the throttle body.

Throttle Body:





7. Remove the two throttle body nuts and two throttle body bolts.
8. Remove the throttle body and IAC BPA valve assembly.
9. Remove the four bolts from the IAC BPA valve to the bottom of the throttle body.
10. Remove the throttle body.
11. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten the throttle body nuts and bolts to 19-25 Nm (14-18 lb ft). Tighten the IAC BPA bolts and nuts to 2.5-3.5 Nm (22-31 lb in).
