Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the daytime running lamps.
2. Visually inspect the components of the Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) system:

Electrical
- Blown fuse(s):
+ 30 A HEAD.
+ 15 A AIR COND.
- Damaged fog lamp bulb(s).
- Damaged wiring harness.
- Loose or corroded connections.

3. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections, or damage.
4. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
