Disassembly and Assembly
DISASSEMBLY1. Use Seal Remover T92C-6700-CH to remove the crankshaft front seal.
2. Remove the eight oil pump cover screws and remove the oil pump cover.
3. Remove the outer rotor.
4. Remove the inner rotor.
5. Remove the snap ring from the oil pump body.
6. Remove the spring seat, pressure spring and the control plunger from the oil pump body.
ASSEMBLY
1. Install the control plunger, pressure spring and spring seat into the oil pump and install the snap ring.
2. Install the inner and outer rotor into the oil pump body with the dimples aligned as shown.
3. Install the oil pump cover and tighten the eight oil pump cover screws to 6-8 Nm (53-78 inch lbs.).
4. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the lip of the new crankshaft front seal.
5. Use Front Seals Replacer T74P-6150-A to install the crankshaft front seal until it is flush with the edge of the oil pump body.
