Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

Inspect both sides of the radiator pressure cap rubber seal and the vacuum valve seat. Check for particles of rust or dirt that could impair sealing. Flush away any foreign material with warm tap water. Also check the sealing shoulder on the filler neck and wipe out any foreign material that may be present.
