Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the sliding roof panel system. This may include a road test if a rattle or wind noise is involved.
2. Visually inspect the components of the sliding roof panel system:

Mechanical
- Sliding roof panel height adjustment.

Electrical
- Blown fuse:
+ 15 A SUNROOF.
- Damaged wiring harness.
- Loose or corroded connections.

3. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections, or damage.
