Sliding Roof Panel

REMOVAL
1. Open the sliding roof panel approximately 100 mm (3.9 inches).
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







3. Pull down on the front of the roof sliding panel headlining.

NOTE: The roof sliding panel headlining is inserted into the rear of the sliding roof panel.

4. Pull the roof sliding panel headlining forward from the rear clips.







5. Remove the roof sliding panel headlining by sliding it rearward out of the roof panel.
6. Remove the roof headlining.
7. Close the sliding roof panel manually using an appropriate wrench to turn the roof sliding panel motor drive shaft nut.







8. Remove the four sliding roof panel nuts.
9. Push the sliding roof panel up from the inside to remove it.

INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten the four sliding roof panel nuts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 Lb-In).
