Roof Opening Panel Frame

REMOVAL
1. Remove the sliding roof panel.
2. Disconnect the sliding roof panel drain hoses from the roof opening frame.
3. Disconnect the sliding roof panel motor and sliding roof panel relay electrical connectors.







4. Loosen the four height adjusting nuts (A) and the two rear roof opening frame bolts (B). Remove the four roof sliding panel housing bracket bolts (C).
5. Slide the roof opening frame off the locator pins and the rear roof opening frame bolts, and lower it into the vehicle.
6. Remove the roof opening frame from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION







1. Position the roof opening frame on the locator pins in the roof panel by sliding it over the rear roof opening frame bolts.
2. Loosely secure the roof opening frame to the roof panel using the two height adjusting nuts.
3. Install the four roof sliding panel housing bracket bolts. Tighten the roof sliding panel housing bracket bolts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 Lb-In).







4. Tighten the two rear roof opening frame bolts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 Lb-In).
5. Connect the sliding roof panel motor and sliding roof panel relay electrical connectors.
6. Connect the sliding roof panel drain hoses to the roof opening frame.
7. Install the sliding roof panel.
8. Adjust the sliding roof panel height. Refer to the adjustment. Sliding Roof Panel
