Component Tests

1. Check antenna cable connections, including radio antenna lead in cable (if equipped).
2. Check to make sure mounting is secure to body at all ground points. Make sure that prongs of grounding collar at fender underside are in contact with metal.
3. Verify all contacts are clean and metal-to-metal.
4. If mountings are loose or metal is rusted or dirty, clean surfaces and secure mountings.
