Antenna - Keyless Entry: Description and Operation

The electronic door lock control processor antenna is a coaxial cable that is housed within the rear lamp wiring. The electronic door lock control processor antenna exits the rear lamp wiring just below the quarter window glass where it becomes an insulated but unshielded wire. The electronic door lock control processor antenna's function is to receive the Transmitter Identification Code (TIC) and send it to the electronic door lock control processor.
