Fan Blade: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable (14301). Refer to Starting and Charging.
2. Disconnect headlamp dash panel junction wire (14290) from cooling fan motor.
3. Remove fan shroud retaining bolts and remove cooling fan motor, fan blade (8600) and fan shroud (8146) from vehicle as an assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten fan shroud retaining bolts to 8.0-10.5 Nm (71-92 inch lbs.).
