Manual Seat Track

REMOVAL
1. Remove front seat.

NOTE: To ease front seat track assist spring removal and installation, adjust seat fully forward before removal.

2. Place seat and seat track assemblies on a clean work area and disconnect the front seat track assist spring and electrical connectors.
3. Remove the seat track-to-seat cushion retaining screws. Remove the front seat cushion frame and spring from the front seat tracks.
4. Disconnect the front seat track latch tie rod from the front seat tracks.
5. If front seat tracks are being replaced, transfer the front seat track assist spring and front seat back latch tie rod to the new front seat track.

INSTALLATION
1. Mount the front seat tracks to the front seat cushion frame and spring. Connect front seat track latch tie rod to the two front seat tracks as they are positioned.
2. Install the seat track-to-front seat cushion frame and spring retaining screws. Tighten to 17-23 N.m (13-17 Lb-Ft).
3. Connect electrical connectors.
4. Connect the front seat track assist spring between the front seat tracks and front seat cushion frame and spring.
5. Install the front seat.
