Seat Track: Description and Operation

Manual seat tracks have these features:
^ The seat release handle is located at the front of the seat.
^ Pulling the seat release handle allows forward or rearward movement of the seat assembly.

Manual front seat tracks are retained to the front floor pan as follows:
^ Studs with nut and washer assemblies at the front positions.
^ Washer head-type screws at the rear positions.

These retainers are removed from inside the vehicle.
