Headlamp Switch: Description and Operation
The headlamp switch:
^ Is a three-position switch.
^ OFF.
^ PARK.
^ HEAD.
^ Includes an integral 20 amp circuit breaker.
^ When in the PARK position (first detent) supplies power to:
^ Parking lamps.
^ Rear lamps.
^ Rear side marker lamps.
^ License plate lamps.
^ Instrument panel illumination.
^ Is provided ground through Circuit 57 (BK).
^ When in the HEAD position (all the way out) provides power to:
^ All of the lamps in the PARK position.
^ The headlamp dimmer switch (part of multi-function switch).
^ Also includes the dome lamp switch.
