Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the illuminated entry system to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the mechanical or electrical concerns apply:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
^ Outside door handle.

Electrical
^ Open fuse junction panel:
^ Fuse 1 (15 A).
^ Fuse 8 (10 A).
^ circuitry open/shorted.
^ Damaged remote keyless entry module.

3. If inspection reveals obvious concern(s) which can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and go to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
