REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Relieve fuel system pressure.
3. Remove five retaining nuts and remove fuel tank heat shield.
4. Disconnect wiring harness connector from fuel tank temperature sensor.
5. Remove tank temperature sensor No. two from fuel line fittings.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Replace tank temperature sensor O-rings. Apply light coating of engine oil meeting Ford specification ESE-M2C153-E to sensor O-rings. Thread tank temperature sensor No. two in by hand.
3. Tighten sensor to 39-42 N.m (29-30 Lb-Ft).
