Brake Light Switch: Description and Operation

The stoplight switch is:
^ An open/closed switch.
^ Is located under the instrument panel near the brake pedal.
^ Provided power through circuit protection located in the instrument panel fuse junction panel.
^ With the stoplight switch closed (pressing on the brake pedal), power is provided to the stoplights and the rear hi-mount lamp through the stoplight.
^ Ground is provided through Circuit 31 (BK).
