Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then cooling fan wiring harness connectors from routing clamps.
2. Remove four screws attaching fan and shroud to radiator, then remove fan and shroud.
3. Remove fan attaching nut and washer, then fan from motor shaft.
4. Remove attaching screws, then separate fan motor from shroud.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque fan motor mounting bolts to 16-19 in lb.
b. Torque shroud attaching bolts to 5.9-7.3 ft lb.
