Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection

Wipe the ignition spark plug wires with a clean, damp cloth prior to inspection. Without removing the wires from the spark plug or ignition coil, inspect the ignition for visible damage such as cuts, pinches, cracks, burns, or torn boots. Replace damaged wires as necessary.
