Pinpoint Test N: Speed Control Indicator ALWAYS On

N1 - Check Speed Control Servo

- Disconnect connector from speed control servo.

Does speed control indicator go out?

YES REPLACE speed control servo. VERIFY proper operation. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
NO GO to N2.

N2 - Check Electronic Instrument Cluster

- Disconnect instrument cluster connector C2.

Does speed control indicator go oft?

YES CHECK circuit 203 (O/LB) at connector pin C2-26 for short to ground. SERVICE as required. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
NO REPLACE electronic instrument cluster. AFFIX odometer sticker to door pillar. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
