E1 Check RH Rear ABS Sensor







NOTE: A very slight amount of damage to the brake anti-lock sensor indicator can cause false signals.

- Remove sensor from rear wheel disc brake adapter and inspect head for damage.

- Use a flashlight to examine the brake anti-lock sensor indicator through the hole in the backing plate. Look for damaged or missing brake anti-lock sensor indicator teeth.

- Are rear brake anti-lock sensor and rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator OK?

YES -- Replace rear brake anti-lock sensor. Go to E2. E2 DTC C1165 or C1235

NO -- Replace damaged parts as required. Restore vehicle. Retest system.
