Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

Accelerator Pedal And Shaft:

1. Remove the accelerator shaft retainer bolts.
2. Squeeze the lock tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.
3. Remove the accelerator pedal and shaft and accelerator shaft retainer.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten the accelerator shaft retainer bolts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 lb in).
