QT6 Perform New Generation Star (NGS) Hookup

- Key OFF.

- Access the data link connector (DLC) located in the engine compartment.

- Connect the NGS Tester to the DLC.

- Connect the NGS power adapter cable to the battery.

- Turn the NGS Tester ON.

- Key ON.

- Make the appropriate vehicle and model year selections.

- Select the ABS diagnostics.

- Is the NGS Tester hooked up properly?

YES -- Proceed to QT8. QT8 Perform ABS Diagnostic Trouble Code Retrieval

NO -- Re-attempt this step. Service any faults if necessary.
