QT3 Check Anti-Lock Brake Indicator

- Turn the ignition key ON without starting the engine.

- Does the anti-lock brake warning indicator illuminate continuously?

YES -- Normal operation. Proceed to Quick Test Step QT4.

NO -- If the anti-lock brake warning indicator is not illuminated, check anti-lock brake warning indicator circuit, 15A METER fuse and bulb. Go to Pinpoint Test G1. Pinpoint Tests

If the anti-lock brake warning indicator is flashing, verify that the data link connector is not jumped (or shorted to ground) between pins "TBS" and "GND". If the anti-lock brake warning indicator illuminates for 1.5 seconds and goes out before the engine is started, there is low generator output. Go to Pinpoint Test F1. Pinpoint Tests
