QT1 Visual Check

- NOTE: It may be necessary to disconnect or disassemble harness connector assemblies to do some of the inspections. Note pin locations before disassembly. Disconnect assemblies with key OFF.

Check for sufficient brake fluid, damaged brake anti-lock sensors, or leaks, and damaged hydraulic anti-lock actuator assembly.

- Check the ABS wiring harness for proper connections, bent or broken pins, corrosion, loose wires, and proper routing.

- Check all of the fuses for proper connection or damage.

- Check the anti-lock brake control module for physical damage.

- Are all of the components OK?

YES -- Drive vehicle to verify anti-lock brakes symptom and proceed to Test Step QT2. QT2 Vehicle Preparation

NO -- Service fault(s) in system and then proceed to Test Step QT2. QT2 Vehicle Preparation
