G4 Check Anti-Lock Brake Warning Indicator Signal







- Anti-lock brake control module disconnected.

- Anti-lock relay disconnected.

- Key ON.

- Connect the "BL/Y" wire at the anti-lock brake control module and the "BL/Y" wire at the anti-lock relay to ground.

- Does the anti-lock brake warning indicator illuminate when both wires are connected to ground?

YES -- Go to G5. G5 Check Grounds at Control Module

NO -- If the anti-lock brake warning indicator does not illuminate at all, replace the 15A METER fuse and/or warning indicator bulb if burned out. If OK, service "BL/Y" wire from instrument cluster to anti-lock relay and/or anti-lock brake control module. If the anti-lock brake warning indicator illuminates only when grounded at anti-lock brake control module service the "BL/Y" wire to anti-lock relay. If the anti-lock brake warning indicator illuminates only when grounded at anti-lock relay service the "BL/Y" wire to anti-lock brake control module.
