X176 - Check Power-to-Fan Continuity Between Both Fans

- Key "OFF".

- Inoperative cooling fan disconnected.

- Disconnect the cooling fan that operates.

- Measure resistance of the power-to-fan circuit between the operative and inoperative cooling fans vehicle harness connectors.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Replace inoperative cooling fan. Reconnect both cooling fans. Re-evaluate symptom.

No -- Service open circuit between cooling fans. Reconnect both cooling fans. Re-evaluate symptom.
