X175 - One Cooling Fan Inoperative, Check Ground Circuit

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect inoperative cooling fan.

- Measure resistance between the ground pin at the inoperative cooling fan vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to X176. X176 - Check Power-to-Fan Continuity Between Both Fans

No -- Service open ground circuit. Reconnect cooling fan. Re-evaluate symptom.
