EGR Electronic Vacuum Regulator Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

EGR Vent Solenoid Valve:

^ Disconnect the vacuum hoses.
^ Blow through the EGR solenoid vent valve and verify that air flows.
^ Disconnect the EGR solenoid vent valve electrical connector.
^ Apply battery voltage and a ground to the EGR solenoid vent valve as shown.
^ Blow into the EGR solenoid vent valve and verify that air does not flow.
^ If not as specified, replace the EGR vent solenoid valve.
