KE25 - Lack High Idle w/Cold: Verify IAC-BPA Not Stuck Closed

- Key "OFF".

- Remove the Idle Air Control-Bypass Air (IAC-BPA) valve from the engine.

- When the valve is cold (room temperature), blow through the air passage and check if air flows freely.

- Does air flow freely through the valve when it is at room temperature?

Yes -- Return to Diagnosis by Symptom (Diagnostic Routines). Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures

No -- Replace IAC-BPA valve. Re-evaluate symptom.
