Throttle Cable/Linkage: Service and Repair

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION

1. Remove the screw retaining accelerator cable to accelerator cable bracket.

2. Remove the bolts or nuts securing the accelerator cable bracket to the engine.

3. Lift the accelerator cable out of the accelerator cable bracket. Remove the accelerator cable bracket.

4. To install, reverse Removal procedure and tighten accelerator cable bracket bolts to 14.8-20.2 Nm (131.0-178.8 lb in).
