Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect engine control sensor wiring connector at the Ignition Control Module (ICM) by pressing down on the locking tab where it is stamped PUSH and remove the connector.

3. Remove ignition control module retaining screws and remove ignition control module from ignition control module bracket mounted on the RH front fender apron.

INSTALLATION
1. Install ignition control module onto ignition control module bracket located on the RH front fender apron. Tighten retaining screws to 3.3-5.3 Nm (29-47 in lb).
2. Connect engine control sensor wiring connector to ignition control module.
3. Connect battery ground cable.
