E3 Check For Short Circuit

- Ignition switch OFF.

- Remove instrument cluster fuse (10A).

- Remove instrument cluster.

- Measure resistance of circuit 640 (R/Y) wire between the fuse terminal and ground.

- Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- Service short in instrument cluster.

NO -- Service circuit 640 (R/Y) wire between the interior fuse and instrument cluster.
