Compressor Clutch Relay: Description and Operation

A/C TIME DELAY AND WOT CUTOUT

The air-conditioning system will not operate:

^ When starting the engine. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) delays energizing the [1][2]A/C relay until after the engine has started.
^ When the vehicle is operated at Wide Open Throttle, (WOT) the PCM de-energizes the [1][2]A/C relay.
