Fuel Rail: Description and Operation

Fuel Injection Supply Manifold And Related Components:

PURPOSE
The fuel supply manifold delivers high-pressure fuel from the vehicle fuel supply line to the fuel injectors.

CONSTRUCTION
The assembly consists of two fuel rails with injector connectors, mounting flanges for the fuel injection pulse dampener and pressure regulator that provides fuel injector retention. The manifold is also equipped with a fuel pressure relief valve on the fuel supply tube.
