Left Side

1. Relieve fuel system pressure.
2. Remove oil dipstick tube support bracket and power steering pressure and return hoses.
3. Remove exhaust pipe to manifold attaching nuts, then heat shield attaching bolts.
4. Remove exhaust manifold attaching nuts, then the manifold.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Lightly lubricate bolts and nuts with oil.
b. Tighten manifold attaching nuts to 26-38 ft lb.
c. Tighten heat shield attaching bolts to 11-16 ft lb.
d. Tighten exhaust pipe attaching nuts to 16-24 ft lb.
