Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch, A/T

PURPOSE
The Transmission Oil Temperature Sensor (TOT) receives a voltage signal that is reduced by the resistance of the sensor, in accordance with temperature and sent to the Transmission Control Module (TCM) which interprets the voltage signals to determine transaxle oil temperature.

CONSTRUCTION
The TOT is a two wire thermistor.
