Shift Solenoid: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Shift Solenoid is an electronic solenoid which is used to control fluid passage within the valve body.

OPERATION
The Shift Solenoids provide gear selection of first through fourth by controlling the pressure to the shift valves.
