This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to revise Step 6 of the Installation Procedure.

ISSUE:
A hard start or stall condition may occur on some vehicles after an engine (2.5L) hot soak. This may be due to an open in the distributor stator-coil circuit.








ACTION:
Replace ignition coil and stator assembly with a revised Ignition Coil (Figure 1) and Stator Assembly (Figure 2). Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.
