Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. Remove instrument cluster from vehicle.
2. Apply 12 volts to oil pressure gauge "+" terminal and ground the "-" terminal.
3. Connect one lead of Rotunda instrument gauge system tester 012-00055, or equivalent, to oil pressure gauge "OP" terminal and other lead to "-" terminal.

4. Adjust instrument gauge system tester to resistances shown.
5. If oil pressure gauge does not operate as specified, replace gauge. If gauge does operate as specified, refer to pinpoint test. Pinpoint Tests
