Removal and Installation

PCV Valve:

REMOVAL
^ Pull the positive crankcase ventilation valve out of the crankcase ventilation grommet at rear of lower intake manifold.
^ Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the positive crankcase ventilation valve.
^ Remove the crankcase ventilation grommet at rear of lower intake manifold.
^ Remove the crankcase vent oil separator element from the lower intake manifold.

INSTALLATION
^ Install new crankcase vent oil separator element into the lower intake manifold.
^ Reinstall crankcase ventilation grommet into the lower intake manifold.
^ Insert the positive crankcase ventilation valve into the crankcase ventilation grommet at rear of lower intake manifold.
^ Connect the crankcase ventilation hose to the positive crankcase ventilation valve.
^ Start the engine and check for leaks.
