Air Injection Bypass Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
^ Remove air cleaner outlet tube.
^ Disconnect manifold vacuum control tube from secondary air injection bypass valve.
^ Loosen hose clamps at intake and exhaust parts of secondary air injection bypass valve.
^ Remove secondary air injection control valve hose and secondary air injection pump outlet hose from secondary air injection bypass valve and remove secondary air injection bypass valve.

INSTALLATION
^ To install, reverse removal procedures. Tighten hose clamps to 1.4-2.3 Nm (12-20 in lb).
