Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The A/C pressure cutoff switch is used to monitor air conditioning system pressure.

OPERATION
The A/C pressure cutoff switch is normally closed. It opens when refrigerant pressure drops below 29-35 psi or rises above 426-483 psi.
