Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

A/C EVAPORATOR DE-ICING SWITCH

PURPOSE
The A/C evaporator de-icing switch is used to cycle the compressor to prevent evaporator freezing.

OPERATION
The switch is normally closed, but it opens when temperature in the evaporator drops below 0-1° Centigrade.
