A3 - Check For Short In Instrument Cluster Power Supply

^ Key OFF.

^ Disconnect the battery ground cable.

^ Remove the 15A METER fuse.

^ Locate and disconnect the white instrument cluster connector.

^ Measure the resistance of circuit 160 (BK/Y) between the bottom terminal of the 15A METER fuse holder and ground.

^ Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

YES -- Locate and service the short in circuit 160. Replace the 15A METER fuse. Reconnect the system. Verify the system. Reactivate the system.

NO -- Replace the 15A METER fuse. Reconnect the system. Verify the system. Reactivate the system.
